Déjà vu all over again! Yes Virginia there is a Hobo baseball team!They have just managed to have a schedule that has had them only playing 7 games over the previous 60 days…weather, holidays and schedule limitations have put an interesting twist into the 2009 season.The BO’s will once again look to re-start the season after another pause in the action, After a convincing victory over the XGuys last Sunday the train hoppers will take the field to battle the Tigers. Yes! The very same Tigers that the BO’s have already battled twice in there 7 previous games. The Men in Black “can see em all” from there position in the race. Ouch!The good news with the schedule gaps is the fact the team has had a chance to heal, one player stated” The down time has been good ,it gave me a chance to raise my kids, come off the 90 day D.L Retire, re-think it, re-instate and get back in shape.Those who are able to arrive early will have the chance to meet the players as they re-introduce themselves to each other at a Pre-game meet & Greet. Game time is 6pm @ Nelson“HOP on the TRAIN” |
